Domain Mapping with Network Solutions

If you're using Network Solutions as your registrar, follow these steps after you've subscribed to Trunity.

1. Start on the Network Solutions home page and log in to your account. You'll be taken to your Account Manger.

2. From Account Manager Home, click the “Domains” tab on the left side of the page. Select "Manage Domain Names" to see the list of domains you own.

3. Under "Domain Details" for the desired domain, locate the section that says "Domain currently points to." In the right column, click the "Edit DNS" link.

4. On the "Edit DNS" page, under the section titled “Advanced DNS Manager,” click the "Manage DNS Records" button.

 

5. You'll be taken to the Advanced DNS Manager page. In the “IP Address” section, click the “Add/Edit” button.

6. Check the “delete” box next to the entry for “www” and click the "Continue" button.

On the next screen, you will be asked to confirm your request to delete the A Record. Click the “Continue” button to finalize your changes and to return to the Advanced DNS Manager page.

7. On the Advanced DNS Manager screen, under the “Host Aliases” section, click the “Add/Edit” button.

8. Under “Alias,” type “www”. Under “Other Host,” type "sites.trunity.net”. Click the radio button beside "sites.trunity.net”.

9. You will get a screen asking you to confirm your request. Make sure your purchased domain name, "www.yourdomain.com," is under “Alias” and your Trunity address, "sites.trunity.net" is under “Refers to Host Name." Click the “Continue” button. Your changes may take up to 48 hours to update.
